Kilkenny have become all Ireland champions for the 35th time with a three point cushion of 2-17 to 2-14 over rivals Tipperary in Saturday's final replay clash at Croke Park.




For Henry Shefflin it was a personal milestone as he was:

left to savour a tenth All-Ireland Hurling Championship medal with Kilkenny after what he described as a “rollercoaster career and a rollercoaster year”.
