What a player but having met the man a few times what a very nice person, A few times while on holiday in Dingle, Paidi's Pub out in Ventry was a must as he told stories of the football and other exploits of himself and others . Within a few hours after the news broke of his death my daughters all contacted me to confirm “was it the man from Kerry football” that had died. My daughters at the time would have been aged 4 to 10 years old, such was the man they had met that they remembered him fondly all these years later
